Other Services: Massage Therapy, Custom Orthotics & Footwear
Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues & joints of the body by manipulation in order to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain (Massage Therapy Act, 1991). When you come in for a massage therapy appointment your therapist will go over a complete health history, ask questions related to you condition(s), and identify your treatment goals. They may use specific orthopedic assessments to develop a clinical impression of your impairment(s) before developing a treatment plan and providing you with a massage. Home exercises may also be recommended to help assist you in your healing.
